I Am So Glad You’re Here!

Are you mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted from trying to get through each day with how you are feeling? Do you feel like you have nobody to talk to? Are you feeling lost? Chances are that if you are vising my website, then you (or someone you know) are probably facing some challenges and thinking about making some changes to improve your life. I can help you work through what is affecting you and regain control over your life. I specialize in treating adolescents and adults who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and difficulty dealing with life stressors such as relationships, work/school issues, self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, and family issues.

My therapeutic approach is uniquely designed to meet your needs. Therapy is not a one size fits all, so flexibility is essential for progress. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) but incorporate many other approaches based on the the presenting issue and what will work best based on your strengths. My sessions are very relaxed and personal. I want you to feel just as comfortable coming to therapy as you would having coffee with a friend.

“That sounds great, but I’m still not sure it’s right for me.”

Maybe want to come to therapy but think it involves too much. Will I have time? How long will I have to go? Can I just go because of this one issue? Do I have to talk about a bunch of other things that I feel are unnecessary? If these are some questions that you are asking yourself, then maybe short-term therapy will suit you better. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy is a short-term treatment option that allows a person, couple, or family to address a specific problem or goal in mind. For more information, please see my SFBT page!

If you or your child may benefit from therapy, please contact me to see how I can help. I will provide a free phone or email consultation to answer any questions or concerns and help you decide if therapy is right for you/your child.
